Ed Bernd Jr. worked for Jose Silva at world headquarters for more than 17 years, and under Mr. Silva's guidance developed specialized Silva courses for sales people and athletes. He also edited and coauthored more than a dozen books with Mr. Silva, and managed the official Silva alumni association. He now develops new Silva programs for Avlis Publishing. Spreading the word about Jose Silva's systems

Ed Bernd Jr. moved to Laredo in 1981 when he was asked to come and edit the company's newsletter, and he has been here ever since. One of his first projects was editing Jose Silva's autobiography. In all, he has worked on more than a dozen books with Mr. Silva, as editor, coauthor with Mr. Silva, or author.
Ed took his first Silva class in 1975 to help him improve his weightlifting ability, but by the time he had completed the class, he had decided that ESP was even more valuable than weightlifting. Before long he was training to become an instructor.
He began teaching the Silva system full time in 1979. In late 1981 Silva asked him to join the company's world headquarters staff in Laredo, Texas, and that's where he has been ever since.
Ed started the Silva Star Athlete program in 1984 and developed it under Jose Silva's supervision and guidance, and later coauthored Think and Grow Fit with Mr. Silva.
In 1986, under Jose Silva's guidance, Ed adapted Jose Silva's Mind Training System for sales people. In 1992 Ed and Mr. Silva wrote Sales Power, which has been translated into more than a dozen languages.
In 1998 Mr. Silva asked Ed to join him in writing Jose Silva's UltraMind ESP System. Ed had to complete the book on his own after Mr. Silva's death in February 1999.
In the early 1980s, Ed assisted in research that Jose Silva conducted during the development of the Rapid Hand Vibration technique, one of his Holistic Faith Healing techniques.
With such a diverse background, and having worked so closely with Jose Silva for more than 17 years, it is only natural that Ed was tapped to develop new products for Avlis Publishing. He has been hard at work developing products that will help people learn and apply Jose Silva's mind training systems in every area of life.
In fact, Ed and Jose Silva Jr. coauthored the newest Silva book, Jose Silva's Everyday ESP, published in July 2007 by New Page Books.
